Professor Weishart Speaks at Cardozo Law and UVA Events

West Virginia University College of Law Professor Joshua Weishart recently spoke at two events on the topic of education as a constitutional right. First, on September 29, 2020, Professor Weishart participated in a panel discussion during the Cardozo Law Review Symposium, "Fault Lines in the Constitution". Second, Professor Weishart spoke on one of two panels hosted by the University of Virginia School of Law to discuss the issues raised in a new book authored by UVA Law professor Kimberly Jenkins Robinson, “A Federal Right to Education: Fundamental Questions for Our Democracy.” Professor Weishart joined other experts in the area of education law. Professor Weishart Speaks at NEPC Annual Meeting

West Virginia College of Law professor Joshua Weishart recently spoke at the 2019 Fellows Meeting for the National Education Policy Center. The meeting was held on September 28-29 in Boulder, Colorado. Professor Weishart participated in a panel discussion with other education law experts titled "Learning from the Field: Education Equity Issues on the Legal Horizon". The panel discussed emerging education equity legal issues.
