Professor James Friedberg Speaks to Oxford University Chabad Society

West Virginia University College of Law Professor James Friedberg recently delivered a lecture to the Oxford University Chabad Society. The lecture took place on April 26, 2022 and was titled "Ukraine, Nuremberg and International Law".  Professor Friedberg's lecture kicked off a series of speakers over the summer term, hosted by the Chabad Society, consisting of scholars across disciplines.

Professor Will Rhee Publishes Trial Prep Procedures Tool for Criminal Trials in Rutgers Law Review

West Virginia University College of Law Professor Will Rhee and co-author L. Richard Walker recently published new scholarship in the Rutgers University Law Review . The article is titled "The Trial Preparation Procedures—Criminal" and offers a trial preparation tool for practitioners. It appears in volume 74 of the journal and follows the publication of a trial preparation tool designed specifically for civil litigation. "The Trial Preparation Procedures—Civil" was published in volume 73 of the journal in 2021.

West Virginia University College of Law Professor James Friedberg recently published new scholarship in the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. Professor Friedberg's essay appears in volume 16 of the journal. The essay is titled "States and Laws, Jews and Palestinians: Yadgar's Traditionalist Alternative. A Reflection on Yadgar, Israel's Jewish Identity Crisis (Cambridge, 2020)" and reviews Israel's Jewish Identity Crisis: State and Politics in the Middle East, authored by Yaacov Yadgar in 2020.

West Virginia University College of Law professor Valarie Blake recently published new scholarship on the opioid crisis and health reform in the Journal of Law in Society. Professor Blake's article is titled "The Opioid Crisis: Lessons for Health Reform" and appears in the summer 2021 issue of volume 21.
