Professor Sean Tu Publishes New Scholarship in IDEA

West Virginia University College of Law professor S. Sean Tu recently published new scholarship in IDEA: The Law Review of the Franklin Pierce Center for IP. The article is titled "Antibody Claims and the Evolution of the Written Description / Enablement Requirement" and appeared in volume 63, issue 1 of the journal in January 2023. Professor Tu co-authored the article with Christopher M. Holman of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.

Professor Sean Tu Publishes New Article in JAMA

West Virginia College of Law professor  S. Sean Tu recently published new scholarship in JAMA. The article, titled  "Manufacturer Revenue on Inhalers After Expiration of Primary Patents, 2000-2021," is co-authored by Professor Tu with researchers at Program On Regulation, Therapeutics, And Law (PORTAL) at Harvard Medical School where Professor Tu is a visiting professor.  It was published online by the journal on January 3, 2023.

Professor Sean Tu Authors New Edition of Fundamentals of United States Intellectual Property Law

West Virginia University College of Law professor Sean Tu has authored the newest edition of "Fundamentals of United States Intellectual Property Law: Copyright, Patent, and Trademark."  This is the seventh edition of the volume which is a comprehensive desk reference with analysis of United States (US) copyright, patent, and trademark laws. Professor Tu's co-authors are Amanda Reid of the University of North Carolina and Jessica Kiser of Gonzaga University.

Dean Amelia Rinehart Delivers Lecture at University of Houston Institute for Intellectual Property & Information Law

On November 4, 2021, Amelia Smith Rinehart, West Virginia University College of Law Dean and Professor of Law, delivered the 28th annual fall lecture of the Institute for Intellectual Property and Information Law at University of Houston Law Center. Dean Rinehart's lecture was titled "Navigating Multiplexed Technology Transfer", during which she shared her research on the question of ownership of technology when there are multiple inventors and multiple employers including the federal government, universities, or private corporations.

Professor Sean Tu to Publish New Scholarship in Washington University Law Review

West Virginia University College of Law professor Sean Tu will publish new scholarship in a forthcoming issue of the Washington University Law Review. Professor Tu co-authored the article, "What Litigators Can Teach the Patent OfficeAbout Pharmaceutical Patents", with Professor Mark Lemley of Stanford Law School.
