Professor Sean Tu Publishes in the Latest issue of Landslide

West Virginia College of Law professor  S. Sean Tu recently published an article in the latest issue of Landslide, a magazine published by the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law. The article is titled "Gender Inequality in Pharmaceutical Patent Law" and appears in the March/April 2023 issue. Tess Hardesty, a student at the College of Law co-authored the work.

Professor Sean Tu Publishes Article in JAMA on Patent Claims before SCOTUS in Amgen v. Sanofi

West Virginia College of Law professor  S. Sean Tu recently published new opinion piece in JAMA. The article, titled  "Broad Patent Claims Come Before the Supreme Court in Amgen v Sanofi," is co-authored by Professor Tu with researchers at Program On Regulation, Therapeutics, And Law (PORTAL) at Harvard Medical School where Professor Tu is a visiting professor.  It was published online by the journal on March 27, 2023.

The article discusses patent claims raised in Amgen v. Sanofi, a case currently before the Supreme Court. Professor Tu previously contributed to an amicus brief filed in the case: Brief of Intellectual Property Law Professors and Scholars as Amici Curiae in Support of the Respondents.

Professor Sean Tu Publishes New Article in IEEE Pulse

West Virginia University College of Law professor  Sean Tu recently co-authored a new article in volume 14, issue 1 of  IEEE: Pulse. The article is titled  "Next-Generation Bioprinted Products: Products of Nature or Patentable Innovation?" Professor Tu's co-authors are Jennie O. Zheng and Stephen B. Maebius, both of Foley & Lardner LLP.

The article is titled "Patent Challenges And Litigation On Inhalers For Asthma And COPD." Professor Tu's co-authors are Sanjay Reddy, Georgetown University, Reed F. Beall, University of Calgary, Aaron S. Kesselheim, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard University, and William B. Feldman Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard University.
