West Virginia University College of Law professor Jesse Richardson recently presented at the 44th Annual Agricultural Law Educational Symposium.  The symposium was held on November 9-11, 2023 in Charlotte, North Carolina.   Professor Richardson spoke in two sessions: "Meeting the Needs of the Growing Agritourism Industry" and "Land Use and Resource Law Update."

Katherine Garvey, Professor and Director of Land Use and Sustainability Law Clinic at West Virginia University College of Law, was recently featured in an episode of NPR Marketplace. The episode is titled "The vacant property crisis is far from over". Professor Garvey discussed the idea of "hypervacancy" with interviewer Amy Scott at the Reclaiming Vacant Properties conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
