Professor Osborne Presents on Scholarly Impact at AALL Annual Meeting

West Virginia University College of Law professor Caroline Osborne recently presented on the topic of scholarly impact and the discoverability of legal scholarship at the American Association of Law Libraries annual meeting. The program, titled Maximizing Your Faculty's Scholarly Impact: Techniques to Increase Findability, was presented with Carol Watson and T.J. Stiepe of the University of Georgia School of Law.

Professor Martin Publishes New Work in Indiana International & Comparative Law Review

West Virginia University College of Law professor Jena Martin recently published new work in the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review . The essay, titled "It's Complicated: The Challenge of Prosecuting TNCs for Criminal Activity Under International Law" appears in the symposium issue of volume 29 of the journal. In March 2019 Professor Martin spoke at the event: "The Fight Against Trans-Boundary International Crime - Approaches, Methods and Solutions" .

Professor Caroline Osborne Posts Response to Code Revision Commission v. Public.Resource.Org, Inc. on SSRN

West Virginia University College of Law professor Caroline Osborne recently posted a new work to SSRN. The article, titled "A Research Tool is Not Law: A Response to " Code Revision Commission v. Public.Resource.Org " addresses the fundamental issue of what is the law the context of Georgia's work-for-hire relationship with a commercial publisher to produce the U.C.G.A. Professor Obsorne's work is timely as Georgia v. Public.Resource.Org  will be heard by the Supreme Court during the October 2019 term.

Professor James Friedberg Publishes in Palestine-Israel Journal

West Virginia University College of Law Professor James Friedberg recently published a new article in the Palestine-Israel Journal. The article, "International Law, Settlements and the Two-State Solution", appears in volume 24, issue 1 & 2 of the journal.

This is the second time Professor Friedberg has published in the Palestine-Israel Journal. His first article, "Nuclear Weapons, Elephants, Israel and the World Court" was published in 2014 in volume 19.
