Research Repository Update: June 2023

During June 2023, the contents of the  WVU College of Law community in the Research Repository @ WVU had 12,770 new full-text downloads of the 5,772 total works archived in our collections. Readers came from 861 different institutions across 152 different countries and territories. This brings the total full-text downloads of scholarship from the College of Law collections to 518,562.

Law faculty scholarship was downloaded a total of 3,471 times in June 2023. The most downloaded articles from the  faculty scholarship collection last month are:

During May 2023, the contents of the  WVU College of Law community in the Research Repository @ WVU had 12,368 new full-text downloads of the 5,766 total works archived in our collections. Readers came from 1,022 different institutions across 141 different countries and territories. This brings the total full-text downloads of scholarship from the College of Law collections to 505,792.

Professor Caroline Osborne Wins 2023 Frederick Charles Hicks Award for Outstanding Contributions to Academic Law Librarianship

West Virginia University College of Law professor and director of the Law Library Caroline Osborne is the 2023 recipient of the Frederick Charles Hicks Award for Outstanding Contributions to Academic Law Librarianship. This national award recognizes leaders in law librarianship who demonstrate continued efforts to improve and advance the profession. The Hicks Award was established in 2000 and is awarded annually by the Academic Law Libraries SIS of the American Association of Law Libraries. Professor Osborne joins an impressive list of distinguished librarians, scholars, and teachers. This much-deserved award acknowledges her accomplishments and commitment to innovation in law librarianship.
