Professor Anne Marie Lofaso and Matthew Titolo Publish in University of St. Thomas Journal of Law & Public Policy Symposium Issue

West Virginia University College of Law professors Anne Marie Lofaso and Matthew Titolo both published new scholarship in the latest symposium issue of the University of St. Thomas Journal of Law & Public Policy. The Symposium was title "Revitalizing Public Goods" and was hosted by the University of St. Thomas School of Law in the fall of 2021.

Professor Anne Marie Lofaso's article is titled "Reimagining Labor as a Public Good: De-Privatizing Aspects of Work." It was co-authored with Hallie Arena and Anna Williams, both members of the class of 2023 at the College of Law.  Her talk begins at timestamp 4:26:53 in the video embedded below.

Professor Anne Marie Lofaso Publishes New Scholarship in Utah Law Review

West Virginia University College of Law professor Anne Marie Lofaso recently published new scholarship in the Utah Law Review. The article was co-authored with Ashley M. Stephens, a 2022 graduate of the College of Law. Alternatives to Mainstream Alternative Dispute Resolution: Eliminating Forced Arbitration Agreements as a Condition of Employment appears in the fifth issue of the 2022 volume of the journal.

West Virginia University College of Law professor  Anne Marie Lofaso recently published in the ABA's PREVIEW of United States Supreme Court Cases. Professor Lofaso comments on an upcoming employment law case,  Glacier Northwest, Inc. v. International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local Union No. 174, Docket No. 21-984, to be heard in the October 2022 term. The article is titled "When Does the National Labor Relations Act Preempt a State Tort Claim for Property Damage Arising from Workers’ Alleged Failure to Take Precautions to Protect Employer Property before Going on Strike?". Professor Lofaso's contribution appears in volume 50, issue 4 of the journal, published in January 2023.
