Research Repository Update: October 2023

During October 2023, the contents of the  WVU College of Law community in the Research Repository @ WVU had 20,581 new full-text downloads of the 5,790 total works archived in our collections. Readers came from 1,454 different institutions across 160 different countries and territories. This brings the total full-text downloads of scholarship from the College of Law collections to 585,387.

Law faculty scholarship was downloaded a total of 5,411 times in October 2023. The most downloaded articles from the  faculty scholarship collection last month are:

Professor Anne Marie Lofaso to Publish New Scholarship in Denver Law Review

West Virginia University College of Law professor Anne Marie Lofaso will publish new scholarship in a forthcoming issue of the the Denver Law Review. The article, The Supreme Court, The First Amendment, and the Erosion of Public Employer Managerial Authority , was co-authored with Martin A. Malin of Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Professor Sean Tu Publishes New Article in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics

New scholarship by West Virginia University College of Law professor S. Sean Tu appears in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, a journal published by the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics.  The article is titled "Preserving Timely Generic Drug Competition with Legislation on “Skinny Labeling”. Professor Tu co-authored the work with Aaron S. Kesselheim of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard University.

Librarian Nicholas Stump Presents Webinar on Teaching Critical Legal Research

West Virginia University College of Law librarian Nicholas Stump recently presented a webinar hosted by the Clinical Legal Education Association as part of its "Teaching Justice Webinar Series."  Mr. Stump was joined by co-presenters Priya Baskaran (American University Washington College of Law), Latia Ward (University of Virginia School of Law), and Nicholas Mignanelli (Yale Law).  The program is titled "Building on Teaching Critical Legal Research with Law Librarians " and was presented live on October 11, 2023.
