Professor James Van Nostrand Presents at 2022 IUCN Academy of Environmental Law Colloquium

West Virginia University College of Law Professor James Van Nostrand recently presented at the 2022 IUCN Academy of Environmental Law Colloquium. The colloquium was hosted by the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia from July 11 to July 15, 2022. This the 19th colloquium organized by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Professor Van Nostrand presented on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. His presentation was titled "Reflecting National Security Interests in Calculating a Resource’s Resilience Value.”

Professor James Van Nostrand Speaks in Nationwide Climate Seminar Series

On April 7, 2020, West Virginia University College of Law professor James Van Nostrand participated in a webinar titled "Climate Solutions for West Virginia". The webinar was part of Bard College's "Solve Climate by 2030" series.  The series consisted of 45 "Power Dialog" presentations conducted simultaneously across the country. Professor Van Nostrand joined West Virginia State Delegate Evan Hansen to discuss energy policies that can create jobs and move West Virginia to a more diversified energy economy.
