Professor Oliva Speaks at "The Opioid Crisis: Rethinking Policy and Law" at American University School of Law

West Virginia School of Law professor Jennifer Oliva will speak at American University Washington College of Law on Friday, February 22, 2019.  Professor Oliva is participating in a symposium titled  "The Opioid Crisis: Rethinking Policy and Law".

The symposium is designed to bring together "leading experts in public policy, law, economics, medicine, public health, law enforcement, emergency response, and more to reimagine policies and laws related to community prevention, access to pain treatment, access to treatment for substance use disorders, harm reduction, and the civil and criminal justice systems in response to the opioid crisis." Professor Oliva is featured on a panel with other experts discussing "Rethinking Community Prevention for Opiod Use Disorders".
